Welcome!
As a group, charter schools have a high potential for implementing Direct Instruction (DI) with fidelity and successfully because charters can more consistently implement such essential components of the DI model as scheduling sufficient instructional time in the DI programs daily, providing training and coaching to all instructional staff, and allocating other resources that contribute to student success.
This website is part of a larger effort to enhance the flow of information between charter schools that use DI as a significant component of their students’ academic success. It provides profile information on charter schools that are interested in sharing their experience implementing DI and learning from other charter schools that have been successful with the DI approach.
Our Goal
